As an OSINT Researcher and Network Coordinator for the Baltics at Alliance4Europe, you will coordinate initiatives aimed at protecting European democracy and countering Foreign information manipulation and influence operations. You will be a crucial part of setting up 3 national networks in Latvia, Estonia, and Lithuania, helping to bring together the defender community across these countries. You will also participate in localising the DISRUPT Toolkit to these three countries, conducting open source intelligence investigations of threat actor infrastructure and activities, and working closely with sub-grantees and national government agencies.

The role requires that you can see the bigger picture – we are not just working for ourselves, but need to always think about how we can bring benefits and opportunities to our members.

This role is based in Europe/Remote. Start date: 1st September 2026, with some flexibility.

  • Adapt the DISRUPT Toolkit to the national context of countries in the WB.
  • Participate in organising offline and online events.
  • Help organise, develop, and deliver trainings.
  • Represent the organisation in events and other contexts.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring adherence to budget and schedule.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Journalism, Cyber Security, International Relations, Intelligence Studies, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (1-2+ years) in OSINT, intelligence analysis, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in using OSINT tools and technologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in at least one language spoken in the Baltics.
  • Good knowledge and network of the Baltics Counter Disinformation/FIMI/IO ecosystem is a strong plus.
  • Community coordination skills or knowledge of programming is valued.

Core Competencies:

  • Strategic Thinking: See the bigger picture – how can your part of the puzzle fit in with Alliance4Europe’s and members of the CDN’s overall objectives? Align project strategies with organisational goals.
  • Proactiveness: Ability to identify and independently follow up on leads and propose new ideas to the team and network.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyse complex information and draw meaningful insights.
  • Team-building: Inspire and motivate others to work together.
