As an OSINT Analyst & Project Coordinator at Alliance4Europe, you will play a dual role with research and project management in driving our mission to counter disinformation and strengthen European democracy. You will collect and analyse open-source data, coordinate research and projects on the monitoring information environments, and contribute to reports that shape our strategic response. Your work and coordination will be crucial in informing our strategies and delivering impactful results.

Responsibilities within the dual role:

OSINT Analyst:

  • Conduct open-source intelligence gathering to identify and analyse disinformation campaigns and narratives.
  • Monitor social media, news outlets, and other public data sources to detect trends and potential threats.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and briefings that inform Alliance4Europe’s strategies and initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain databases and tools to support OSINT activities.
  • Stay updated on the latest OSINT techniques, tools, and best practices.

Project Coordinator:

  • Develop and manage project plans, including timelines, milestones, and key deliverables.
  • Coordinate across teams to ensure project goals, scope, and deliverables are met.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring adherence to budget and schedule.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, providing solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to the team and relevant stakeholders.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive project environment that encourages innovation and engagement

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Intelligence Studies, Political Science, International Relations, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (1-2+ years) in OSINT, intelligence analysis, project management, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in using OSINT tools and technologies, as well as project management tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in other European languages is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment.

Open-source intelligence researcher focusing on Chinese and Russian influence operations. Sam is the coordinator of the Counter Disinformation Network, a Pan-European network working cross disciplinary to protect European democracies against influence operations.
