As a Community Builder & Communications Campaign Manager at Alliance4Europe, you will lead efforts to run advocacy outreach, build digital communities, and create impactful communication campaigns. You will develop and carry out campaign strategies, manage Alliance4Europe’s social media presence, and craft engaging content that advances the mission of strengthening European democracy. This will include work on EU policy issues centring on democracy defence and technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage contact with key stakeholders at (EU) institutions, governments, and partner organisations.
  • Build and sustain (online) communities and networks around key initiatives and campaign actions.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive communication plans that support Alliance4Europe’s mission, initiatives, and campaigns.
  • Manage social media channels (including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and Bluesky).
  • Create compelling content for various channels, including social media, newsletters, and press releases.
  • Manage media relations, serving as the primary point of contact for journalists and media outlets.
  • Monitor and analyse campaign performance, alongside media coverage and public sentiment to inform our communication strategies.
  • Collaborate across project teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all platforms.
  • Support in the organisation and coordination of (online) events, webinars, and workshops to engage stakeholders and the public.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ experience in communications, (digital) campaigning, community building or digital engagement.
  • Experience working in or with European Union institutions and governments is a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency with shared documents, Canva, and WordPress.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in other European languages is preferred.
  • Strong copywriting, messaging, and strategic communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Prior experience with EU-funded projects is a plus, but not required.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Communications or a related field is a plus, or equivalent work experience.

Omri is an EU affairs and civil society professional, having worked in the European Parliament, and for human rights and sustainability NGOs on campaigning and advocacy. He has extensive experience as a campaigner, organiser, and trainer with civil society and political movements across Europe.
