Insights and Analysis Lead (Europe/Remote)

As the Insights and Analysis Lead at Alliance4Europe, you will work with the Lead Researcher in driving our mission to counter disinformation and strengthen European democracy. You will participate in developing the organisation and its capabilities. You will coordinate and conduct research and projects on monitoring the information environments, and contribute to reports that shape our strategic response.

The duration of the contract is until the end of March 2027, with a possibility to be extended, depending on project funding.

This role is based in Europe/Remote. Start date: 1st September 2026, with some flexibility.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop research and methodology projects;
  • Develop and provide trainings;
  • Manage government, funder, and client relationships; 
  • Represent the organisation in public events and press;
  • Create opportunities for the members of the CDN;
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and briefings that inform Alliance4Europe’s strategies and initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain databases and tools to support OSINT activities.
  • Stay updated on the latest OSINT techniques, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, International Relations, Intelligence Studies, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in OSINT, intelligence analysis, project management, or related fields.
  • Existing strong network that can be brought over to the organisation. 
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in using OSINT tools and technologies, as well as project management tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in other European languages is a plus.
  • Experience managing people and projects

Open-source intelligence researcher focusing on Chinese and Russian influence operations. Sam is the coordinator of the Counter Disinformation Network, a Pan-European network working cross disciplinary to protect European democracies against influence operations.
