As an OSINT Researcher and Data Analyst at Alliance4Europe, you will conduct research that aims to protect European democracy and counter Foreign information manipulation and influence operations. You will be a crucial part of a research team, conducting investigations across Europe and developing technical solutions to benefit civil society. The role requires that you can see the bigger picture – we are not just working for ourselves, but need to always think about how we can bring benefits and opportunities to our members. The duration of the contract is until the end of March 2027, with a possibility to be extended, depending on project funding.
This role is based in Europe/Remote. Start date: 1st September 2026, with some flexibility.
Responsibilities:
As part of a larger team you will:
- Develop data-driven investigations and tools
- Implement automated workflows
- Participate in OSINT investigations and monitoring of FIMI and IO operations with the aim to disrupt them.
- Help organise, develop, and deliver trainings.
- Represent the organisation in events and other contexts.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Journalism, Cyber Security, International Relations, Intelligence Studies or a related field.
- Proven experience (1-2+ years) in OSINT, intelligence analysis, or related fields.
- Strong analytical and research skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in using OSINT tools and technologies
- Community coordination skills or knowledge of programming is valued.
