The framework is built around three key components:
- Preparation Measures – Collecting, securing, and analysing evidence to justify a disruption action.
- Disruption Measures – Operational measures designed to interrupt or disable an influence operation.
- Mitigation Measures – Actions taken when disruption fails or only partially succeeds in order to reduce impact.

The training is delivered through two interactive sessions combining lectures and practical run through of the tooling. Each section builds progressively on the previous one, enabling participants to understand both the conceptual foundations and the operational application of the DISRUPT Framework.
