AI sovereignty is the question of who controls the systems Europe now depends on: where models run, under whose jurisdiction, trained on whose data, and answerable to whom. For European democracies, this is not only an industrial policy question. The same models increasingly mediate how citizens find information, what reaches them, and what they believe, which makes dependency on foreign-controlled AI a democratic resilience issue as much as an economic one.
This certification gives professionals a working command of that landscape. Over two days, you will learn how AI systems and their supply chains actually function, where Europe’s real dependencies lie, what the EU’s regulatory and infrastructure push does and does not change, and how AI is reshaping the information environment that European democracy runs on.
The course is built for practitioners rather than technologists. It moves past sovereignty as a slogan toward decisions you can defend: what to assess, what to ask vendors, where autonomy is achievable, and where dependency is structural.
