As a Network Coordinator at Alliance4Europe, you will play a central role in managing and delivering projects that strengthen European democracy and counter disinformation. You will coordinate initiatives involving civil society actors across Europe, ensuring effective collaboration, timely delivery, and strategic alignment with our mission.
This position requires familiarity with Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) and the Slovak civil society landscape in the fight against foreign information manipulation and interference (FIMI) and disinformation. You will work closely with partners, experts, and internal teams to ensure that our efforts to support European resilience are coherent, impactful, and well-managed. This is a six-month position, with the possibility of extension. For this position, fluency in Slovak is required.
Responsibilities within the role:
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and deliverables for disinformation-related civil society projects.
- Coordinate with partners, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met.
- Monitor progress, budgets, and risks, ensuring adherence to objectives and deadlines.
- Prepare project reports, briefings, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support strategic planning and evaluation of initiatives that strengthen democratic resilience and counter disinformation.
- Facilitate collaboration among European civil society actors engaged in FIMI-related work.
- Contribute to identifying opportunities and partnerships across the European civil society landscape.
- Stay updated on the latest OSINT techniques, tools, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Political Science, International Relations, journalism, Security Studies, or a related field.
- Proven professional experience (2+ years) in project coordination or management, preferably within civil society, NGOs, public institutions, or international organisations.
- Familiarity with OSINT methodologies and the Slovak civil society ecosystem engaged in countering disinformation and FIMI.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluency in Slovakian and English (both written and spoken) is required; proficiency in additional European languages is an asset.
- EU-based residency required, with the possibility of occasional pre-planned travel.
